Which figure can be verified?
Galataport’s official project page says the port reached about 230,000 homeport guests in 2025 and targets 280,000 in 2026. A homeport guest starts or ends the cruise in Istanbul; this is not the same measure as all transit guests.
Target versus completed result
The 280,000 figure is an operating target. Use the monthly statistics of Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for completed port traffic. Operator share or daily capacity needs a separate dated primary source.
