wirecruise is an independent cruise publication. We explain ships, itineraries, fares, cabins and port logistics in clear language, support claims with sources, and make a named human responsible for every published page.
Editorial principles
- Human approval is mandatory. Automatically prepared material is a draft only. Nothing marked pending_review can be published by automation. The responsible editor must check sources, wording, disclosures and image rights before using Statamic’s native publish action.
- Sources are visible. Every news report names and links to the original publication, press release or primary document. We do not reproduce complete third-party articles.
- Corrections are transparent. Confirmed errors are corrected as quickly as possible, normally within 24 hours. Material changes receive a dated correction note on the affected page.
Four languages, one standard of accountability
Turkish remains the unprefixed default edition. British English is published under /en, German under /de and Spanish under /es. Translated news articles are independent records and require the same human review as the Turkish source. Missing or unpublished translations never produce placeholders or untranslated fallback pages.
Performance and accessibility
Fast, stable pages are part of editorial quality. Our targets are Lighthouse Performance of at least 95, LCP below 1.8 seconds, CLS below 0.05 and TBT below 150 milliseconds. On article pages, only the newsletter form is hydrated in the browser.
