Email newsletter

When you subscribe, we store your email address, the time and version of your consent, the page where you subscribed, the campaign label and your language in Cloudflare D1. We use this data only to provide the newsletter you requested and to record consent. We do not add it to third-party mailing lists. You may unsubscribe through the link in any email or ask us to delete your address.

Usage analytics

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics measure visits and content engagement; Microsoft Clarity creates session recordings and heatmaps. These services load only after you explicitly accept analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data and personalised advertising remain disabled. If you withdraw consent, analytics storage stops and measurement cookies on the wirecruise domain are removed.

Cookies and retention

Your choice is stored for 180 days in the essential wirecruise_consent preference cookie so that we do not ask again on every page. It contains the categories selected, the consent-schema version and the time of your choice. It is not used for tracking across websites. You can change the choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

Technical logs

Cloudflare provides hosting and security and may process standard request logs for protection, debugging and aggregate traffic measurement. To limit abuse, the newsletter form may briefly retain a non-reversible hash of the network address.

Newsletter language

We store the language selected at subscription so that confirmations, status messages and newsletters are delivered in the correct edition.
